Helloo lovely people of internet land, how are you today can you believe that it is still sunny out? Me neither but let’s hope that it last.

So today is day seven of the 30 day snap if you don’t know what it is then CLICK HERE for an explanation from the person who created it Louise from SprinkleofGlitter.

Today has been my mum and dad’s 33rd wedding anniversary so we have had a little celebration where my mum got lots of flowers and we drank bubbly champagne. It was a lovely day and I want to say happy anniversary to my mum and dad.

I love the bubbles that the champagne produces in the picture and how the sun hits it.

I hope you all have had a wonderful day, and have you been up to anything recently?

Hello lovely people of the internet so it is Day 6 of Louise from SprinkleofGlitter’s 30 day snap, if you don’t know what it is CLICK HERE and apparently day 5 did not happen to me as it was such a crazy day yesterday that I forgot to upload my daily snap L sorry guys.

Alas I am back and today I thought I would introduce someone to you that honestly I cant believe he has not been on here before,… My dog Archie.

As you can see he is a Black Labrador and bless him, he is getting old now at the ripe old age of ten nearly 11 years of age. As you can see it is starting to show, the grey hairs are coming through on this chin and he also has a few white whiskers.

I love that in this picture he is almost posing for the camera, let’s just say that he is the baby of our family and a little bit of an attention seeker.

How has your day been? Also do you have any pets? If so what ?

Hello all of you wonderful people, How are you all? So it is day four of Lousie from SprinkleofGlitter’s 30 day snap if you don’t know what it is firstly where have you been, secondly CLICK HERE to find out J

Today I have spent quite a bit of time out in the garden taking various pictures and when I took it this one knew straight away that it was my snap of the day, I honestly can’t believe that I managed to take this picture.

The picture is of French Lavender, from a distance it doesn’t look anything remarkable but when you get up close and personal you can see the magnificent detail of the flower. Until I took this picture I honestly did not see that the smaller flowers work together to build the main head of the lavender, almost like a collage. When you get closer you also see the different shades of lavender which enhances its beauty.

You do not notice the true beauty of this flower until you get up close to it, this picture has made me see that I need to look closer at the world around me otherwise I will miss some truly magnificent things. I need to travel through the world with my eyes open.

I hope you like the picture, Have you seen anything remarkable today that you want to share?

Hello people of internet land, it is officially Monday how is you Monday going? It’s lovely and sunny here, a nice continuation from the wonderful weekend that we had.

So it is day three of Louise from SprinkleofGlitter’s 30 day snap and if you don’t know what it is CLICK HERE to find out.

Today I wanted to share with you my corner of the world as I think it is a particulary beautiful place. I decided to do this as my day three snap after me and my sister took a scenic drive through various beautiful villages yesterday. This made me realise how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful place and I wanted to share it with you all.

As you can see there is a lot of greenery, but what I love when you look at this picture is that there are so many different shades within the photo. As we get more into summer gradually the colour range will become even more diverse and it is a wonderful thing to watch.

Are you taking part in the 30 Day Snap?  If so I want to see so leave me your links below :)

Hello all wow its Sunday already, you know what that means tomorrow is Monday are you all ready for the week ahead?

So today is day two of Louise from SprinkleofGlitter’s 30 day snap. If you don’t know what it is then CLICK HERE for Louise’s explanation.

So what have I been up to today then? This morning I got up extremely early (well extremely early for a University student), and went on a tour of Bewl Water Treatment Works owned by South East Water where I was shown how our water is treated and where it comes from in order  to make fit for our own use.

It was very informative and I learnt that on average I use 165 Litres of water a day which equates to 56p a day, less than the price of a print of milk (which is good as I don’t drink milk).

I also went on a shopping trip where I unfortunately did not buy anything but it did make me realise that I reallllly want a pair of mint green jeans. I saw a pair in an Abercrombie and Fitch outlet store today and all I can say is I was tempted, but unfortunately they ankle jeans and I cannot stand anything around my ankles :(

My Snap of The Day, comes from a visit to my uncle and aunt's house where they showed me some of their vintage cameras. I am completely in love with vintage film cameras, I think that they are so much fun to play and take pictures with.

What really gets me is the suspense that you get as you wait and see how the picture taken comes out, although one problem is that with these cameras I become incredibly trigger happy. Anyone else?

The main camera that you can see in the photo is a Canon A-1 and the one behind it is a Canon AE-1, they are both SLR Cameras.

What have you all been up to today? And what do you think of vintage cameras?

Hello people of the internet, how is you weekend going?

Today I have spontaneously decided to take part in the 30 day snap challenge that Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter is doing. I had no previous plans to join in with this but today when I woke up I thought why not J If you don’t know what it is then click HERE to take a look at sprinkle of glitter’s explanation.

Therefore here is my picture, now I am not sure whether this is cheating or not but I have made a collage, although my ‘official’ day one snap is the one in the bottom right hand corner. I think this essentially sums up my day of movies and a tasty treat.

30 Day Snap #1

As I sit here writing this I am re discovering my love of The Devil Wears Prada, I Love this movie but like many I go through phases of watching it a lot and inevitably I then need a break, but I always go back to it.

To accompany my film watching I have chosen a Love Tub, to be specific the sticky toffee pudding variety. Although they also come in two other variety’s the chocolate pudding and the chocolate orange volcano pudding.

These puddings are amazing you put them in the microwave for 35 seconds (750w) and 30 seconds (850w) once done they come out of the microwave a wonderful melted gooeyness it is officially like heaven in your mouth.

I highly recommend them to anyone who hasn’t tried go out and buy one I don’t know about other countries but in the UK you can buy them from selected Co-op, Morrison’s, Nisa, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose stores.

What have you all been up to today? And what do you think of today’s choices?
